Meet Our Staff
Pastor Chris Anderson joined Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church in January 2025. A native of Arkansas, Chris attended Bethel University and Memphis Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Mary, are the proud parents of four children. Since beginning his ministry in 2012, Pastor Chris has been dedicated to sharing God's Word, encouraging believers in their faith, and helping people experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ. He is grateful to serve alongside the congregation of Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church as they seek to grow in faith and serve others.
Michelle Livingston joined Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church as Music Director in October 2026. An accomplished worship leader, music educator, and entrepreneur, Michelle brings over 25 years of experience in the music industry. Her musical background includes training at Southern Methodist University, Dallas College, and Christ for the Nations Institute. Throughout her career, she has performed in a variety of settings, directed live concerts, and developed a passion for Christian and pop songwriting. Michelle has three adult children and enjoys gardening, Bible study, interior design, gourmet cooking, and spending time with her beloved tortoiseshell cat. She is excited to share her love of worship and help nurture the next generation of church musicians.
Meet Our Session
The Session serves as the governing body of Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church and is composed of the pastor and elected elders. Through prayer, discernment, and faithful leadership, the Session works to guide the spiritual life and ministries of the congregation.
Meet Our Diaconate
Deacons are elected and ordained servants of the church who assist in caring for the congregation and supporting the ministry of the church through service, compassion, and stewardship.
